Serving at CFC
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Romans 12:4-5
We believe that one of the keys to a healthy local church is connection to the church mission through serving. We all have unique talents and giftings, both practical and spiritual, that the local body needs in order to flourish. There are many ways that you can serve in ministry that will help you meet members of CFC, make new friends, and get to partake in the blessing of being serving others.
Here are few areas where you can serve
- Pre-Service Refreshments
- Ushering
- Greeting
- Nursery
- Children's Church
- Youth
...and many more!
Some Practical info
In order to serve in a ministry, you must:
• be a member of Christian Fellowship Center. You can find information on how to become a member here.
• fill out a ministry application and take our Child Sexual Abuse Prevention (CSAP) training class. Once you fill out the ministry application, mail it to CFC (PO Box 5, Madrid, NY 13660). When your application has been received, someone in the church office will contact you about taking the CSAP class.
