About NCCF (Gouverneur)
Becoming disciples—making disciples, together, in Gouverneur.
CFC sent Pastor Ford Reynolds to lead a group that established a congregation in Richville in 1992. That plant grew with a unique culture and ministry of its own. In 2009, Pastor Mike Tomford was set in as the primary pastor at Richville, and the church continued to grow through Sunday School, house meetings, and weekly services.
In the winter of 2015 another congregation was established in Gouverneur. By the summer of 2018, Richville and Gouverneur began gathering together, consolidating into one centrally located church to serve the southwestern part of St. Lawrence County.
We gather every Sunday for worship, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship—and we would love for you to join us.
At this campus
Kids & nursery
Nursery and Children’s Church are typically available during the sermon. Children stay with parents during worship.
Community & ministries
Come early for pre-service prayer (9:00am) and Sunday School (9:30am). Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm we gather to pray and worship.
Lead Pastor
Mike Tomford
Lead Pastor Mike Tomford is the lead pastor of Gouverneur. He has been serving at CFC since 1994 and pastoring in Gouverneur since 2009. Mike lives in Gouverneur with his wife Judy and they have five adult sons.
