Jesus is the most significant person in all of history and yet He wants to know you personally. He lived a perfect life, He never sinned. He came into our broken world on a mission to rescue us and make us new.
Whatever your background.
Whatever you’ve done.
Whatever you are ashamed of.
Jesus invites you to come to Him.
The barrier that separates us from Him is our own sin: the bad choices we made which were against God’s will and have left us and others broken.
But God made a way to wash away our stains of sin and make us new. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins by dying on the cross for them.
Jesus said,
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
After Jesus died for our sins on the cross, He rose from the dead. He alone has defeated death and offers new, abundant, eternal life to those who turn from their old ways and believe in Him.
Being connected with God is no longer impossible, but it can be a reality for you if you believe in what His Son Jesus did for you. He is not distant, but near to those who are seeking Him.
